Time Wasted

Today I read a quote that said something to the effect of, "if you're wasting time doing something you enjoy, you're really not wasting time." It's true. Life is too short not to relax and enjoy yourself, which is why I won't feel guilty when I watch TV and play Scribblenauts after work today.

Taylor's Wedding

Friday Sept. 25th was my good friend Taylor's wedding. We met at the salon at 7:00 am to do her wedding hair. It turned out beautiful.
It doesn't hurt that Taylor basically looks like a model.

I was lucky to be Taylor's temple escort and helped her into her dress. It was really fun and I felt honored to be a part of her special day.

The cute couple.

Sarah, Dana, Katie, Taylor, myself and Lauren. Love these girls.

Her reception was at Memorial House in Memory Grove. It was beautiful.
Caitlyn and David wasted no time. They already have 2 kids! Jk but really.

Good ol' Matt Hawkes striking a pose for the camera.

Katie, Sarah and I. I just met Sarah through all Taylor's wedding stuff. She's really funny.

Dana, Katie, Courtney, Sarah and I. They looked great in their bridesmaids dresses.

I sure love Katie. I'm glad I've gotten to see her more recently!

Congratulations Taylor! I'm so happy for you. Thanks again for inviting me to be a part of your special day.

Bees Knees

Last night Sam and I went to the Bees game with our friends Nate, Tanja, Kyle and Shaley. It was really fun to be outside in the nice weather. I only really watched the game when people started cheering. Baseball is a little slow for me but still fun.

Nate, Tanja and Olivja. Thanks for inviting us guys!

Kyle and Shaley. Kyle ate the blue cotton candy. Clearly. haha.

Olivja was a little cotton candy monster! She ate a ton of it. Can't say I blame her. She's so stinking cute. She calls me Ky-Yee.

I told her to smile for me before I would give her more. She scared me into it!

Kyle turned into somewhat of a cotton candy monster himself.

During a break someone went down on the field and proposed to his girlfriend. It was really cute. It made me want to be engaged again but only for a second.

Our Blog = Fort Knox

Well folks the time has come. We're putting this thing on lock and key. I like for people to read our blog but I think it's best if we control who has access to our lives via the world wide web. So if you'd like a blog invite, please comment. It's okay if you barely know us, don't know us at all or even if you're a little creepy. We'll invite you. We just want to know who's lookin'.

Caitlyn's Wedding!!!

Caitlyn, who is one of my best friends, was married Friday! It was such a beautiful day. Beautiful but long! I woke up at 6:15 am to be at her house by 7 to do her hair.
This picture doesn't quite do it justice. She slid her veil up underneath and it was beautiful. I've been lucky to do most of my friends hair on their wedding day. It's always so fun to share that moment with them on their wedding morning.

After we finished with the hair we went to a wedding breakfast at the Joseph Smith building. It was beautiful. Everyone said great things about Caitlyn and David, myself included. After breakfast we headed to the temple for the ceremony. It was really neat going back. It reminded me of mine and Sam's wedding day. So special.

Here we are waiting for the bride and groom outside the temple. I have been friends with Michelle and Tara since 4th/5th grade. It's always great seeing them.

Here is the happy couple exiting the temple.

Here's David and Caitlyn working it for the cameras.

This is Caitlyn's friend shot outside the temple. I love wedding photos.

After the ceremony we went to the reception at Em's Restaurant. It was really cool! It was indoors and outdoors. Here is cute Mr. Waterfield. Handsome as always. We sat around a table with our friends and caught up on life. We always have fun doing that. Blogging and Facebook isn't quite enough. It's great to see people and make those connections and refresh friendships.

Meet Tara and Dan Thompson. We love them. They are entertaining people.

This is my bouquet. It got a little droopy.

Here is Caitlyn's beautiful cake.

Here is Caitlyn feeding David like a baby bird.

Another group shot. The weather was perfect. It wasn't hot at all and I only felt 2-4 raindrops.

This is us after our traditional goodbye/good luck huddle up.

Bridesmaids.

I love you Cait! We are so happy for you and David. If you ever need marriage advice, don't hesitate to call me. I'm practically a pro at marriage now.
